Ehecatl is Quetzalcoatl as wind — a duck-billed mask, a cut-shell jewelry of the whirlwind, round temples so the air could walk all the way around. After Nanahuatzin became the sun he hung still. Ehecatl blew until the Fifth Sun moved. Without that breath, Ollin is only a name.
