She of the Jade Skirt

Jade-skirted sister and partner of Tlaloc. She rules rivers, irrigation, and the first bath of a child. In the Legend of the Suns she became the Fourth Sun, Nahui Atl, and the world drowned. The people of that age became fish. In Tenochtitlan she was not a side-chapel goddess — the city lived on a lake, and every canal was her road.
